The finish on this knife tends to draw attention...simulated sidewinder, I think. This is too bad, as the knife itself is pretty nice. The blade is finished in a semi-reflective black and is double-edged. The double-edged blade makes this sort of dangerous to use for real work, as you almost always forget that it has a double-edge and you'll place your thumb on the blade to give it a bit more pressure when you're trying to cut something (ouch!!). There is no safety mechanism or belt clip. Blade action is firm and reliable. The handle is nicely tapered and shaped to provide a good grip.

PROS: Reliable action, impressive blade, above-average quality of construction for a knife in this price range.
CONS: Try to get this in flat black (instead of "sidewinder") and you'll like it better, double-edged blade is "sexy" but not too practical.
VALUE: This particular finish was on sale, but I would probably just get a plain black one if I had it to do over again.
OVERALL OPINION: Even though it looks like something a pimp would carry, it's really a pretty good knife. The double-edged blade, however, makes it dangerous to carry and use on a regular basis.
