AKC Sidewinder II |
AKC Sidewinder II The finish on this knife tends to draw attention...simulated sidewinder, I think. This is too bad, as the knife itself is pretty nice. The blade is finished in a semi-reflective black and is double-edged. The double-edged blade makes this sort of dangerous to use for real work, as you almost always forget that it has a double-edge and you'll place your thumb on the blade to give it a bit more pressure when you're trying to cut something (ouch!!). There is no safety mechanism or belt clip. Blade action is firm and reliable. The handle is nicely tapered and shaped to provide a good grip.
