This is a cheaper version of the classic Italian switchblade, but the quality remains pretty high. The blade uses a back-lock mechanism that is released by a tilting bolster.

PROS: Nice workmanship for an inexpensive knife, edge is good for the cost.
CONS: The knife has to be held firmly for the mechanism to work reliably, the sliding safety has to be moved about an inch to operate.
VALUE: A good, practical switchblade, but definitely below the level of quality you see in a Beltrane.
OVERALL OPINION: Worth having.
